Rooms

How many rooms are there at the West-End Hotel, and what are the room categories?

The West-End Hotel has 49 rooms, all air-conditioned, located from the ground floor to the 6th floor of a Haussmann-style building constructed of cut stone. They are divided into five categories: 15 Standard Rooms (15 m²), 11 Superior Rooms (20 m²), 7 Executive Rooms (25 m²), 12 Deluxe Rooms (30 m²), and 4 Junior Suites (35 to 40 m²). Two rooms, located on the ground floor, are fully equipped for guests with limited mobility: one Deluxe Room and one Junior Suite.

What is the difference between the five room categories?

The differences lie in the size, the bedding configuration, and the coffee-making facilities. The Standard Room measures 15 m² and features a double bed measuring 140 × 190 cm; twin-bed configurations and Nespresso machines are not available. The Superior Room is 20 m², with a choice between a queen-size bed measuring 160 × 200 cm and two single beds measuring 90 × 200 cm.

The Executive Room measures 25 m² and features a sitting area and a Nespresso machine. The Deluxe Room measures 30 m², making it ideal for a long stay. The Junior Suite, ranging from 35 to 40 m², includes a sitting area that can be separated by a sliding partition, a walk-in closet, a separate toilet, and a bathroom with a shower and bathtub.

Which rooms at the West-End Hotel have a balcony?

Twenty of the 49 rooms feature a Haussmann-style balcony, spread across three floors: 7 rooms on the 2nd floor, 8 on the 5th, and 5 on the 6th. This applies to all room categories. On the 5th floor, each balcony is furnished with a small table and two chairs, allowing guests to enjoy a drink or breakfast outdoors during the warmer months.

We assign rooms on the day of arrival, subject to availability. Since these rooms are in high demand, we are unable to guarantee them in advance.

Can I book a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower?

Eight of the 49 rooms, located on the 5th and 6th floors, offer a partial view of the top of the Eiffel Tower from their balconies: four Standard rooms, two Superior rooms, one Executive room, and one Deluxe room. Unfortunately, these rooms cannot be reserved or guaranteed in advance, as we assign rooms on the day of arrival based on availability, and these rooms are in high demand.

However, you can let us know your preference when you make your reservation: we will take it into account as much as possible.

Do the rooms face the street or the inner courtyard?

Seven rooms overlook the inner courtyard: four Deluxe rooms, one Executive room, and two Standard rooms. All the others overlook Rue Chambiges or Rue Clément Marot, two quiet streets in the 8th arrondissement where there is little foot traffic.

If absolute quiet is a priority for you, please let us know when you make your reservation, and we'll do our best to assign you a room facing the courtyard.

Are the rooms at the West-End Hotel air-conditioned?

Yes, all 49 rooms are air-conditioned, which is by no means the case for all Parisian hotels located in Haussmann-style buildings. Each room has its own independent air conditioning system: you can turn it on or off and adjust the fan speed and temperature using the control panel.

Our systems are reversible, but heating is provided by radiators, which turn on as soon as the temperature drops; however, you can still use the air conditioning if you wish.

Which rooms can accommodate 3 or 4 people?

Only the Junior Suites can accommodate more than two people: some are equipped to accommodate up to 3 adults and 1 child, thanks to a king-size bed measuring 180 × 200 cm or two single beds measuring 90 × 200 cm, along with a sleeper sofa in some rooms. All other room categories accommodate a maximum of 2 people at no extra charge.

The surcharge for a third guest aged 3 or older is €70 per night; children under 3 stay for free. Please contact us before your arrival so we can prepare the room accordingly.

Which rooms at the West-End Hotel have a bathtub?

The marble bathrooms in the Junior Suites feature a shower and a bathtub, with a separate toilet. The other room categories feature a private marble bathroom with a shower.

All bathrooms are stocked with Balmain bath amenities, including bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers, and a lighted magnifying mirror.

Can we get two separate beds at the West-End Hotel?

Yes, in four of the five categories. Superior, Executive, and Deluxe rooms can be configured with either a queen-size bed (160 × 200 cm) or two single beds (90 × 200 cm). The Junior Suite features a king-size bed (180 × 200 cm) or two single beds (90 × 200 cm).

Only the Standard Room is available with a double bed measuring 140 × 190 cm. Please specify your preferred bed configuration when making your reservation.

Have the rooms at the West-End Hotel been renovated recently?

Yes, a renovation project is underway. The seven rooms on the 6th floor have just been completely renovated, and the renovation of all the Superior rooms is currently underway, with completion scheduled for the end of October 2026. The building itself, constructed of cut stone, is believed to date from the 1860s.

Are there TVs in the rooms, and how big are they?

Each room is equipped with a television with access to international channels. The screen size varies depending on the room's size: 15 rooms have a 65-inch screen, 19 have a 50-inch screen, and 15 have a 43-inch screen.

Is the minibar included?

Each room has a stocked minibar: water, soft drinks, wine, champagne, chips, chocolate, and peanuts. All items are subject to a charge and must be paid for on-site upon checkout.

We no longer provide plastic bottles: you can have your water bottle refilled with filtered water—either cold or room temperature—free of charge upon request at the front desk, and the tap water at the hotel is safe to drink.

Is smoking allowed in the rooms at the West-End Hotel?

No, the entire hotel is non-smoking, including the guest rooms. Failure to comply will result in a €100 penalty, as restoring a room to its original condition requires a complete cleaning of all textiles and bedding.
